      Behind The Name

      Mr James Francis "Frank" Hurley (1885 - 1962) was an Australian photographer and all round adventurer having been part of a number of Antarctic expeditions for Douglas Mawson and Sir Ernest Shackleton's. Not only that, he photographed both world wars providing a visual record of the horrific conflicts.
